Cupcake Tasting
Presented by The Detroit Writing Room
The Detroit Writing Room is hosting a Cupcake Tasting on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
We are seeking about a dozen local cupcake shops shops to participate. Each shop will provide either mini cupcakes or cupcake halves for guests to taste.
The Cupcake Tasting will be open to the public to attend. There will also be a panel of judges including:

Detroit Writing Room founder Stephanie Steinberg
After sampling cupcakes, the judges will vote for their favorite. The public can also vote, and there will be a Cupcake Lover’s Choice Award. Early bird tickets to attend are available here.
Participating shops can bring up to 4 flavors and are welcome to sell their cupcakes at the event.
If selected, there will be a $75 fee to participate. Deadline to apply is Jan. 15. We will inform the selected shops by mid January.
